{"id":7049,"date":"2023-09-18T16:01:15","date_gmt":"2023-09-18T14:01:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/voyagesimpressionnistes.com\/uncategorized\/van-gogh-the-last-journeys\/"},"modified":"2025-10-16T09:32:59","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T07:32:59","slug":"van-gogh-the-last-journeys","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/voyagesimpressionnistes.com\/en\/auvers-oise-valley\/van-gogh-the-last-journeys\/","title":{"rendered":"Van Gogh: the last journeys"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the occasion of the 170th anniversary of the birth of Vincent Van Gogh, the Ch\u00e2teau d&#8217;Auvers hosts an exceptional exhibition devoted to the last four years of Van Gogh&#8217;s life: <em>Van Gogh: the last journeys<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>This new route allows its visitors to discover the geographical and artistic explorations of Van Gogh in France from 1886 to 1890: Paris, Arles, Saint-R\u00e9my-de-Provence, with a particular focus on his stay in Auvers-sur-Oise, where he created more than 75 paintings in less than 70 days.<\/p>\n<p>Starting in spring 2025, visit the exhibition <em>Van Gogh: The Last Journeys<\/em> in the company of a guide who will take you on a detailed exploration of the facets of the painter and his works. Each room in the exhibition provides an opportunity to explore in greater depth the key stages in the last years of his life, using the works and media on display to help you better understand the artist. Enjoy a friendly chat about the exhibition on Sundays, from 11am to 12pm, on 6 and 20 April, 4 and 18 May, 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 15 and 29 June 2025.  <\/p>\n<p>At the same time as <a href=\"https:\/\/voyagesimpressionnistes.com\/en\/paris-montmartre\/van-gogh-in-auvers-sur-oise-the-final-months\/\"><em>Van Gogh in Auvers-sur-Oise.
