On the occasion of the 170th anniversary of the birth of Vincent Van Gogh, the Château d’Auvers hosts an exceptional exhibition devoted to the last four years of Van Gogh’s life: Van Gogh: the last journeys.
This new route allows its visitors to discover the geographical and artistic explorations of Van Gogh in France from 1886 to 1890: Paris, Arles, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, with a particular focus on his stay in Auvers-sur-Oise, where he created more than 75 paintings in less than 70 days.
At the same time as Van Gogh in Auvers-sur-Oise. The final months at the Musée d’Orsay, the exhibition reveals the sources of inspiration of the artist, through a scenography mixing digital and original works at the heart of the work of the genius.
