An added attraction in the village, this cultural trail set up by the Office de Tourisme Nouvelle Normandie – Giverny is dotted with 20 panels (in French and in English) inviting visitors to discover the history of the village and those who have left their mark on it.
Claude Monet, Theodore Butler, Lilla Cabot Perry and Vaclav Radimsky are among the illustrious figures who explored every inch of the village in search of themes and inspiration. Along the trail, discover the very beautiful Romanesque church dedicated to St Radegonde, next to which stands Claude Monet’s last home, where he died on 5 December 1926.
