As part of the celebrations to mark 150 years of Impressionism, the free exhibition Rencontres de Saint Siméon. Dans les pas des Impressionnistes in Honfleur has been extended to 2025.
The Ferme Saint Siméon, an iconic site and historic source of inspiration for the pioneers of Impressionism, invites visitors on a journey through time and art. A nest of inspiration for legendary artists such as Monet, Boudin and Jongkind, it is proud to reconnect with its artistic past by hosting a collection of paintings produced on the estate.
These works, capturing the essence of light and landscapes that fascinated the great masters, will be exhibited in the gardens and public spaces of the Farm, allowing visitors to enjoy an immersive experience in the birthplace of Impressionism. Visitors are invited to explore the exhibition at their own pace, guided by the beauty of the works and the timeless charm of the Ferme Saint Siméon.
In addition to the exhibition, La Boucane, the restaurant at Ferme Saint Siméon, will offer a special menu in homage to Mother Toutain, an emblematic figure in the reception of impressionist artists. Available from Monday to Friday lunchtime, this menu offers a unique gastronomic experience reflecting the region’s culinary heritage.
