Perched on the heights above the beach at Trouville, this museum is housed in the charming Villa Montebello that once belonged to the Marquise de Montebello. Its collections, including watercolours by Eugène Boudin, explore two main themes linked to the resort’s identity: the early days of sea bathing and the development of holiday-making along this stretch of coast known as the Côte Fleurie, such a source of inspiration for so many artists, from the 19th century to the present day.
