• Poster Frank Boggs au Musée de Meudon

This exhibition, in Meudon (musée d’Art et d’Histoire) southwest of Paris, is dedicated to American painter Frank Boggs (Springfield, 1855 – Meudon, 1926). Via some 60 works, “Frank Boggs. En Marge de l’Impressionnisme” prompts visitors to discover the life of this American artist who arrived in Paris in 1880 and became an important witness of the Impressionist times.

The mix of paintings, engravings, watercolours and drawings includes works from the museum’s collections, plus loans from art institutions and private collectors. This first retrospective on Boggs takes visitors on an unusual journey, revealing to us this artist and his luminous palette.

Experience the moments of happiness that inspired painters in Normandy and Paris Region for the 150th anniversary of Impressionism!
